Once again, lots of options! They have a waffle maker, yogurt bar, salad bar, sandwich station, pizza bar, and a grill in one dining hall. There are also small restaurants and fast food places in the buildings.

There is an eat in cafeteria that is basically a buffet because it is all you can eat. It has a salad bar, a grill area, a sub station, pizza, and a side that serves hot dishes. Also, Rockford University has a Den that is opened for extended hours and is separate from the cafeteria. The Den has smoothies, Starbucks like drinks, chicken tenders, Asian food, burritos, burgers, chicken sandwiches, and more. The dining service team is open to food suggestions through email and a suggestion box if there is something that a student would like to see in the cafeteria. RU will accommodate for those that are gluten free, don't eat pork, or any other dietary restrictions. Just let them know, and they will make sure they always have food that you can eat.

There is not that much of a choice with what there is to eat in Burpee dining hall. There is more of an option at this hall, as it is the only hall on campus. Even though the food is not ideal, there is always something to eat. Most people choose to eat at the Lion's Den (which is like the cam pus lounge area). The food there is so much better, but it is more expensive.

being a vegetarian, i'd have hoped a liberal arts college would have catered to my kind more but overall there menus are decent sized and the food cards give you (i think) 3 meals a day.
