Founded in 1878, Rocky Mountain College is a liberal arts college in southern Montana and the oldest institution of higher learning in the state. RMC confers bachelor’s degrees in 51 academic majors including an Individualized Program of Study that enables students to design their own major. Throughout the year, Rocky offers a number of outdoor weekend trips for class credit involving activities such as whitewater rafting, backpacking, and kayaking for school credit. For a break from the rigors of academia, Yellowstone National Park is 90 minutes from campus.
