Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design prepares passionate students for creative careers, with an emphasis on individualized instruction in a success-oriented college campus and online environment.

RMCAD is an art school like no other. As a community of creatives, we're dedicated to the personal success of each of our students, whether they choose to pursue their studies on campus or online. Offering a unique combination of freedom and support, we help all of the artists and designers who enroll with us to find their voice, discover their own paths, and thrive as art and design professionals.

  • RMCAD is a fully-accredited college specializing in developing aspiring artists and designers to their full potential. The online curriculum is taught by working artists and designers, who focus on leading students to find their own voice, while uniquely preparing them for a successful career in art and/or design related fields.

    RMCAD boasts a fully accredited, custom learning management system catered to creative learners and thinkers, access to actual instructors, unique "critique zones" allowing for a tremendous level of interactivity with other students.

    Financial aid is available to those who qualify. Applicants are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Our institutional code is 013991.


    RMCAD is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), as well as the prestigious National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
