    Don't be afraid to apply yourself to a club or to Student Government. It is an experience that I invite anyone to have. Try very hard to bring your own food. The cafe has good people working in it, but what you pay for isn't exactly what you get when you buy food; however, the drinks are worth it. Don't be afraid to have a say in what the college spends its fees on, the Budget Action Team invites all students to their meetings where they discuss this.

    Know how to be an independent student, but also know how to handle Rogue Central because you will have to every now and then. Don't shrug off classes, it may be a community college, but these are university quality instructors. This college is basically a public university and has the feel and academia of one.
