Be open minded and ready for anything. It can be challenging at times but in the end the struggle will be worth it and what is school or life without challenges.

Getting on speaking terms with professors and Rowan staff is important because it will lead to better communication through out. the staff is very friendly and love to help students so it should be generally easy.

If you plan to transfer into Rowan University, make SURE you get Rowan's requirements in terms of prereq's before actually transferring in. That was a huge headache for me.

The professors here aren't always the greatest. You will most likely get a few who are bad at teaching the required material. With that said, there are some here that are very good at what they do and will try to get you involved in various activities, such has school functions, clubs and formal meetings and events. The food here is average, not the greatest but could be worse. Dorm life is fun if you happen to get a social floor. There seems to be electrical and machine issues all the time around campus. We have lost power a few times, heat stops working at times, and the fire alarms have malfunctioned on various occasions. Rowan has many school run events which can be fun if you go to the right ones. There are also may opportunities to go on off campus trips if you happen to get tickets before it is sold out. Overall the school is alright but there are many other cheaper, better schools out there.

Study, study, STUDY. Research all of your classes before you begin the semester and get ahead of the game! Also, attempt to email your professor before class starts in order to see if you actually require the prescribed book/materials for the class, plenty of money can be saved this way.
