The food options available in the MUC are amazing! Chick-Fil-A, Annie's Pretzel's, Union Station, and many more options within our cafeteria.

What seemed like many options quickly changed into a need for a home cooked meal. Dining offers a variety of options, but they get old fairly quickly.

As I stated before the incoming freshmen all have to pick a Resident hall meal plan. These are two meal plans that freshmen have to pick from. One plan has more money on it than the other, but both of these are apart of the 60/40 plan. This means when you go to purchase food you tell the cashier you are a resident and you receive a discount to where you only pay 40% of the total. The food options on campus are pretty good. They are currently trying to expand more and add other choices.

Organizations exist but there isn't on campus Greek housing. Different events are held throughout the year on campus though.

I see comments saying greek life is non existent all the time but this is totally false. I myself am not greek but have a lot of friends that are and let me tell you the greek life here is very active and actually really fun! You aren't going to get hazed like many other schools and another thing is that I don't really see the greeks here participate in community events much but they sure know how to have fun and be involved with the school and make school events a lot better.

The presence of Greek life here on campus is known, however, the absence of Greek housing on campus really takes away from it. At this time there are six Fraternities and soon to be four Sororities.

There are only a few Greek lifes that you can join as a freshmen, so if you really want to join but aren't sure - wait! Also, SIUE doesn't have Greek housing so you would still be in the dorms (if that matters to you).
