What to do for fun
I wouldn't go out locally. the 2 and 5 trains are about 2 blocks away. its 15 minutes into Park Slope, about 40 minutes into Manhattan
Food and Dining
Sodexo runs the cafeteria which is shared by the school and the adjoining hospital. The hot lunches are good; the salad bar is always wiped out.
I dont live there but a friend does. Dorms are spacious and right across the street from the main building.
Most professors lack it. You need to push yourself
Tips for prospective students
Stay on top of assignments and take initiative. Always question test grades.
In three sentences
It is a good campus in close proximity to valuable clinical settings. Nursing professors are not the best, so there is a lot of self-driven initiative necessary. The program is 5 months, so it is worth it.
