Do not skip a class unless you are really sick and always let the professor know you wont be there so that they can get you the notes. Make atleast one friend in every class so that if you do miss you can get notes and so you have a study buddy, Go to office hours and ask for extra credit professors do understand that you have other classes.

Students who are applying need to make sure you apply early and make sure you know where you want to be. For example if you have a friend you want to room with make sure you do it ahead of time. Also, if you want to work on campus make sure you apply to jobs as soon as you graduate high school because you will have to wait another year before working.
