The food is okay. Starbucks, panda express and Einstein Bro Bagels are good places but the cafeteria marketplace is hit or miss. Sometimes it is tolerable and other times you get very sick of eating there.

The food is amazing, along with there being a wide variety to choose from. You will never, ever tire of eating at SVSU. I'd love to have a cafeteria as big as the Marketplace at my school, seriously.

The food is pretty good at the FOC (aka. cafeteria), but it's always at it's best during tour days when potential future students come to visit. If you ever want to eat all three meals there, go on the tour days to do that. It offers a wide variety of foods and there's always something different to eat.

The dining hall is okay but after the first 2 months it gets annoying eating the same thing so make sure you try to explore.

I like the variety that Saginaw Valley gives. There is Mongolian, Comfort food, and wraps or subs, along with pizza, a salad bar, hamburgers and other more college type foods. However, even with the wide variety, after a month I did start to get tired of the food. Most of the time, the food is prepared well and very enjoyable.

Dining services will accommodate you with anything you may need such as allergies or diet restrictions. Subway is coming in the Fall of 2014. We have Starbucks and Einstein Bagel plus Papa Johns and other eating place. You will never go hungry. There is also a convenience store called the C-Store. With later hours and great food SVSU is a great place. There is also the Ryder Gym center free for students if you are worried about the Freshman 15.
