    SAVE YOUR BEARKAT BUCKS! I cannot stress this enough. freshman blow their bearkats bucks within the first couple of weeks and you will need them on Finals week let me tell you! Also don't spend all your money on fast food and pizza. its an easy way to go broke and limit eating fast food at odd hours after parties especially.

    Sam Houston State University is a great school that is also very affordable. It has a close atmosphere much like a small university, but there is a much larger population.
