Make sure to know beforehand where your classes are so you do not get lost. After awhile, the campus will seem less of a mystery to you and, well, confusing. I did not have navigating problems because my mother used to take me to school with her (she is also a Delta College student). Another tip for you to know is learn to seek help when you need it. Acknowledge the fact that things happen. Teachers at Delta are not the same as teachers in high school. College teachers won't let you get away with talking during a lesson or ask you why you're failing the class. Take initiative and make sure you are at a good standing. No one will hold your hand here, unless you know past students who have attended Delta. Most of all, remember your health comes first. Grades are important, but so are you. Keep trying and never let yourself doubt your progress. You got this!!

Don't listen to what others say about the college just because it doesn't fit their needs doesn't mean it will fit yours.

As a newcomer, acquiring a campus tour is essential the maps are not always very helpful. Also. checking out their website can give students load of information on programs that are beneficial for those who qualify and are looking for more information. Do not allow others to change your curiosity about the campus life before living the experience yourself. Individuals often exaggerate situations and prevent others from having a fun and successful college life.

If you do plan to attend Delta College, it would be best to finish classes as quickly as possible. The classes are very difficult to attend due to an overabundance of students in the class and even more so because sometimes the required class is offered one semester throughout the year. What makes it worse is the class also requiring several unnecessary pre-requisites just to attend the one class.
