Beach is less than a minute walk from campus. So, find something to do. Observe, exercise, or relax and study for a change.

The campus is across the street from the beach! There are a variety of activities. You can always find students playing ultimate frisbee on the lawn. We have a track field with stadiums for the perfect workout. Of course if you prefer the water there are surfing classes, beach volleyball, sailing, paddle boarding and much more.

  • Sep-25-2014 I am researching this school and have visited the campus

Beach, sports teams, a few clubs. Most people commute--well all people commute as there are no dorms, but mostly people don't hang out for long on campus after class is over.

There is downtown no more than five minutes away so it is very easy to take the public bus and get to the downtown area for a meal. Downtown has many stores, restaurants, theaters, and many shops for entertainment.

There is many activities in school and outside of school. The campus lies about 200 ft from the beach and 5 min from the harbor. One can visit the beach, rent kayaks, go sailing, surfing, or take a 10 min walk to downtown where there is shopping, theaters, and restaurants.

For fun, you can literally walk down hill from the campus, cross the street, and you are at the beach! There is a wide variety of water sports to take advantage of, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and surfing. Volleyball is also a personal favorite.

This is the place for FUN. Surfing, SUP, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, running, volleyball, tennis, golf and every outdoor sport you can imagine. The weather is beautiful 365 days a year. The night life on the main drag is famous for pool, darts, movies, small stores, and drinking (if you are 21). There is definitely something for everyone. LA is just a short 1 1/2 hour drive south and SF is a longer drive north but accessible. Have FUN
