Take the Big Blue Bus to downtown Santa Monica for some beach fun, go to fancy restaurants, shop for trendy clothes on Venice Blvd., or just ride your bike around town for some site seeing. LA and Beverly Hills is also near by so I recommend planning a day or night trip too!

The school is within close proximity to the beach, which is also within close proximity to the shops and restaurants on Main Street and at the Third Street Promenade. You can also travel a little further south to Venice Beach. Students get to ride the Big Blue Bus around town for free, which is convenient in a city with such bad parking.

There's many organizations and clubs on campus. Also, it's proximity to the beach and downtown Santa Monica gives you many fun places to spend your time. It's right in the midst of the city.

As I already mentioned, join a club ! Santa Monica is also a great place for students, you can go to the beach, learn how to surf or how to skateboard, ride your bike around town, go hiking in the Santa Monica Mountains, go on the roller coaster at the Santa Monica Pier, go shopping on Third Street promenade or visit Venice, Malibu or Downtown Los Angeles.

SMC offers many options for fun on campus. We have a field/track if you are interested in some physical activity. They also offer a weight room and swimming pool. Most of the time it is just enjoyable to sit in the quad or under the clock tower with some friends.

I seriously go to class and leave class. I'm 46-years-old. I am certain you will find plenty of fun to fill your time. Most likely, too much.

There are many, many different clubs to join for fun, such as the new League of Legends community club that formed recently, aimed at promoting and embracing the hit online game, League of Legends. The beach is a 5 minute bus ride away as well, for you sun lovers! There are many malls, theaters, and bars around the area for entertainment.

I do more online so I don't spend much time in campus unless I take campus classes but I have heard that they have a number of activities in which students can participate and also guest. For example fairs, farmers markets, Trasnfer and scholarship fairs, clubs, etc.

I would mostly go in the library in SMC and start reading some of the book. There not much to do on campus but if you consider going out make sure you have money or take some extra classes to make sure you are busy.
