by far the best option financially, between low costs and financial aide, you can get your education for cheaper than anywhere else around without sacrificing quality, in fact the srjc is often praised for being more challenging and academically rewarding than a number of 4-year universities.

if your a california resident with a lowish household income you may qualify for the bog fee waiver which waives tuition costs. also the srjc foundation is very generous and i've received scholarships every year. transferring to a four-year university from here is a great financial option.

You save a lot of money by attending the JC and are always able to find school supplies elsewhere for a cheaper price if needed.

You get a great education at the community college price. I was able to complete my first two years of college without taking out any loans. I also would not have been able to study abroad if it wasn't for this. Tuition at SRJC is $46 per unit. Studying abroad through community college costs 1/3 or less than at a university. I still did not have to pull loans to go live in Paris for a semester. It was such an incredible experience.
