I believe their are fashion shows they hold, and there are many nice places to eat with music and poetry.

    1. Go to Forsyth park. 2. Check out the beach on Tybee Island. 3. See a free movie at Trustee's Theather (and then get ice cream at Leopold's afterwards, of course)

You can do anything really. There's a gym, various parks, clubs, library, movie theaters, mall, etc. Personally me and my roommate went to the movie theaters and watched movies for free(with our SCAD id). There is also a SCAD museum with exhibits that come through. Savannah is a tourist town, so there are many events always going on every week in different parts of the city, like Jazz Fest, Film Fest. If you want to know what's always going on, I recommend liking every Savannah and SCAD involved Facebook page or social media account and reading the newsletters sent to your student email.

There is lots of great shopping in savannah and the parks are really pretty. There are usually events going on that you can go to at the theater or museum as well.

Savannah has many local shops and places to eat that you can find all down the main streets. Or you can hang out at the many parks or go visit the museum and see the exhibitions they have. Also, on the weekends there's a shopping bus that'll take you to the malls.

Savannah Is a really fun city! SCAD hosts festivals and Events right in the heart of downtown. Events like the SCAD Film Festival draw a lot of attention, celebrities will come in town to either speak or show off special screenings. There is Tybee Island Beach, which is 20 minutes away. Savannah on Saint Patrick's Day is a WILD, they are the #2 craziest place to celebrate in the country behind Boston. On any given weekend there is party hosted by someone in the houses off campus however they tend to get shut down by cops. Around once month to every 3 weeks events like warehouse parties will be thrown and they are really fun.
