Of course it depends on what your friends like to do, but there are tons of little neighborhoods, like Fremont, Ballard, and Upper Queen Anne with food, dessert, and fun activities. Downtown is always a must sometime during the year, and University of Washington is about a 10 min drive away.

Hop over to UDubb (Univ. of Washington), see the tourists site, lots of trails and islands close by for exploring and mountain biking!

It's Seattle, anything is literally a bus ride away. There is also the student center (Student Union Building SUB) with great activities, rental equipment for hikes, intramural sports , the church also has regular meetings.

Get out and explore the city. Seattle has the best to offer by way of music, outdoor activities, and the arts. You're right in the middle of it so there's no excuse.

We're in the middle of Seattle, so there are many things to do. Local food/dining places are great and there are many parks in the area. Just a short bus ride away is the Space Needle,as well as downtown Seattle. You can easily get to Pike Place Market, the Waterfront, the zoo, aquarium, Gas Works Park, Alki Beach or Golden Gardens. Also in the area are great hiking trails and camp grounds.

The school is more so focused on academic activities so most of the fun will come from meeting other students or engaging in club activities and lectures.

GO EXPLORE. Living in the middle of downtown Seattle is awesome because you have a plethora of areas to go explore that are chuck full of amazing parks, look outs, hikes, restaurants, hip coffee shops, and more. Seattle is a constantly moving city. Immersing ourselves in the Seattle culture is one of the best parts about living here.

The campus is in between Downtown Seattle and the Fremont district, two excellent places for social live, restaurants, shopping, site seeing, and coffee shops. Taking the bus and exploring here is also very easy. There is also an on-campus data base that regularly updates students on up coming events to make sure they can get involved.

Besides the dining experience, there's lot's to do in Seattle! Lots of parks nearby (including Gasworks, Kerry Park, and Discovery Park!) lots of safe places to walk, beautiful views (especially off Kerry Park), there's the eclectic atmosphere of Fremont with an indie vibe and the Fremont Troll, The Ave in the U-District has TONS of food options, lots of local shopping and of course there's the Space Needle. Seattle is very health-conscious and environmental and there is lots to do out of doors. It is also has amazing coffee, being Seattle.
