    make sure you know how to do all of your own student planning as your advisor has his/her own agenda and that is not the one that will help you achieve your educational goals. also, make sure you are aware of all of your federal aid rights and the law, because the financial offices at this school seem to be absolutely ignorant and don't want to help students, but rather make themselves a buck.
