My final choice came down to SSU or a private school in Chicago. We won't even talk about the weather, but I am getting so much, for so much less! I can go to SSU for 2 1/2 years for one year of tuition at the other school, and I am getting a great education.
Read MoreThere is a lot of support at Sonoma State, and because it is a small school a student can get to know their professors better. It is easier to get a good grade when the student can talk to the professor about something he or she did not understand, rather than be passed over as another face in the crowd like at bigger universities.
