Student Responses to Review Topic: Food And Dining

There are a variety of places to eat; however, if you are looking for healthy options your selection becomes much, much more narrow. The majority of places to use flex dollars are fast food, and the main dining hall has very slim hours; it is not even open on the weekend. You can't really go anywhere to eat on campus past 8 pm as everywhere is closed. The union, where you can use your block meals, claims to have a lot of options, which they technically do. However, I found that they are often out of basic thugs such as their ice cream, milk, spinach for a salad, etc. furthermore, as it nears the end of the semester they will likely be out of merely everything and you will have to settle for whatever they scrape together. If you go at the right time though, there are several different options to choose from such as burgers, chicken patties, and fries from the grill, a home cooked meal style of food, a salad bar, sandwich bar, dessert bar, cereal, and one other meal that varies daily.

The food does get old really fast on campus. When you're eating it every single day. There is a variety though of things on campus which is nice. The one thing I wish campus did have was a place to buy fresh produce. That would make the food even better.

SDSU has a variety of meal plans and dining services, though most of the on-campus restaurants include Chinese or sandwiches. I haven't yet chosen a meal plan, so I'm not familiar with the food and dining at SDSU.

Student Union just opened up a new Panda Express, Chick-fil-et, and Pita Pit. Also has main cafeteria options. Food is pretty good.

The meal plans are not too expensive and totally satisfying for an average college student. There are different options for different prices as well.

It's really hard to find fresh and healthy options on campus. If you're into greasy farm food, you're in for a treat. There are students on campus and in the area that work really hard to advocate for healthy options, but progress is slow. That being said, some of the food is still really good if you're not plagued by a health-conscious mind or dietary restrictions.

SDSU has lots of options for food and places to eat and most of the places are all in one building called The Student Union, which makes it easy to meet up with friends everyday for lunch.

I rushed one night. I just wanted to see what greek life was about and realized that it wasn't for me. But that doesn't mean I don't like it. Almost all of my friends are in a sorority. And I'm really happy that they found their niche. I found mine without getting involved and thats completely okay.

Greek life is unobtrusive, but supportive. If you're really not into the whole Greek thing, you probably won't notice them on campus aside from their periodic events. If you want to participate in Greek life, there are organizations for almost anyone that are very welcoming and inclusive to students.

There are many different sororities and fraternities on campus. They're safe and fun, nothing like you see in the movies! I haven't had a chance to pledge for one, but I have heard that it's sort of like a family. Everyone looks after each other, and it's a great way to meet some really awesome friends!

There is an Honors Dorm on campus, where all well educated students can meet and live. Besides, greek life does not evolve very well in the school, many students do not take studying seriouly but they do not bother intellectuals. II will rate Greek life 2.5 stars.

Greek Life isn't very big at SDSU, but they are working on building it. They now have three houses on Greek Row and a fourth one will be coming shortly this year. Greek Life is a great opportunity to be involved on campus and make connections.
