South Mountain Community College is a 2-year institution in Phoenix. Over 70 percent of its enrollment is made up of first-generation college students and SMCC is federally designated as an Hispanic-Serving Institution. SMCC is home to five academic divisions granting degrees and certificates in programs such as Advanced Behavioral Health Sciences and Music Business. For students looking to earn a 4-year degree, SMCC offers transfer pathways to the University of Arizona, Northern Arizona, and Arizona State as well as partnerships with several other colleges and universities.
