Sometimes I disliked the school for their unorganized professors, but you will find a poor professor at any school. Most of the staff I encountered had at one point in time attended the school so they know what it's like to be in the students' shoes. It is a GREAT price compared to a university. You are saving SO much money going to a community college for your first two years. I would recommend it to many people who do not wanna break the bank or are unsure of what they want to major in (this was me!) I also wanted to save money so I had some in reserve when I transferred to my four year university. South Suburban has saved me so much money! And there are a lot of scholarship opportunities that you can take advantage of. I won a scholarship here that has paid for my books :)

The classes are economical and transferable where they meet the standards of high ranked state universities if you want to elevate into specialty majors not given at South Suburban. This is a community college so it is convenient with great transportation options. Shopping and eating facilities are in the area for easy access.
