Am learning a lot
The instructors here are always eager to help students out in any way possible within reason. They target subjects well and utilize many different resources from textbooks to web sites.
Am enjoying being here
There are friendly student clubs and plenty fun activities that take place throughout the semester. The student activities center always goes out of their way to bring a fun atmosphere out in between classes with games, music, and free food.
Bang for the buck
The average cost for classes is affordable as well as cost of supplies and textbooks. There are always students willing to help with book purchasing such as reselling books. The cafeteria on campus provides good food at a good costs and the student services available through tuition costs are a big help and definitely worth the price.
Tips for prospective students
Utilize the tutoring center as well as the computer labs and study rooms. All of these services are covered by tuition and free to the students. They are a big help and available at any time throughout the semester but are constantly overlooked by students.

Am learning a lot
I learned a lot while being here at South Texas College. Unfortunately I did not pass my first classes. I am looking to go back but have not found the monetary means to go back. I am hoping to get some sort of scholarship to help me out.
Tips for prospective students
Its a great school with small class sizes... what else could you ask for in a college?
Great for these types of students

Am enjoying being here

Bang for the buck
This college is very inexpensive.

Am learning a lot
I am a good student and in these past 2 semesters I've learned a lot.
Am enjoying being here
It is fun you meet new people from all over Texas (the valley) and many other states. The student life organization does a lot of activities where you can meet a lot of other students and have fun.
Bang for the buck
We get more from education for less. There are great professors you can find at a university for less money. I love that the class sizes are small and the teachers know you on a first name basis.
Tips for prospective students
Keep in check for your financial aid status just in case.
Great for these types of students
Great for any type of students you can receive college credit while in high school or even get in programs you can apply to while in high school that by the time you graduate you already have an associates degree before you get your high school diploma.

I rate my college a 8 out of 10, the staff/professors are very friendly and helpful, along with the students that attend here, tuition is cheaper then a university, the food isnt the greatest, but all around a decent college!
Tips for prospective students
I do recomend this school, if you're looking for a great atmosphere and professors that are very helpful and teach well, South Texas College is the place to be! (:
Academic Rigor
The academic rigor is basic you go to class, pay attention, and study you will get the grade you deserve! I do know in order to obtain and keep financial aid you must pass all your classes!
Dorm Life
No room and board on campus!
Food and Dining
The food at school isnt the greatest, all though theres many different restraunts, gas stations, and even a supermarker surrounding the college!! (:
What to do for fun
The school occassionally has different activities different semesters, such as they bring out water balloons and guns on a hot day, serve pizza, soda, and other things time to time, and annually have a Fall Festival every October!
Campus Safety
Security does a great job, tons of securtity everywhere and cameras to make you feel safe and concentrate on getting a great eduaction!

Am learning a lot
You will definitely learn a lot they have great instructors that teach well and are understanding. I have not had a problem with any class or instructor that I have taken.
Am enjoying being here
I enjoy being there because classes aren't too big so you can get the extra help you need.
Bang for the buck
I am happy attending this college and want to continue my education here, but I can use some extra help by receiving a scholarship because I do not receive financial aid help and I have a brother entering college as well.
Tips for prospective students
If you choose to attend this college you will not regret it. The best thing for you to do is apply yourself, work hard and study, it will definitely be worth it.
Great for these types of students
It is a welcoming school anybody can attend as long as you have taken a THEA, or the accuplacer,SAT/ACT is acceptable as well.
