Great, friendly environment!
What to do for fun
We have a gym, a student lounge, the library, and the 'canteen'. The canteen is what we call the game room. It has a pool table, a ping pong table, a foosball table, as well as a TV. The school also owns a wii that is available to the students.
Food and Dining
The smaller town of Laurel has plenty of options for dining, mostly budget friendly which is great for college students. Also, Hattiesburg is about 30 minutes away and offers more expensive fancier dining. The group at school usually tries to plan a fun Hattiesburg trip once or twice a semester to splurge on nicer dining. On campus is a vending machine and a coke machine.
Being a small school, we have only a handful that actually stay in the dorms, most of them live too far away to drive both days for school. We all have a lot of fun. Monday nights are when any student that wants to come all meet up and go eat and play games or see a movie or do whatever after night classes let out.
The classes are educational and informative, at times hard. But the dedicated teachers do their best to help you and work with you so that you can do the best that you can. Classes only meet on Mondays and Tuesdays, leaving the rest of the week open for studying and working.
Tips for prospective students
Don't let the small school look fool you, it's a great school with great people and wonderful teachers. Don't be surprised if you end up loving it. Don't worry about drama. The students all respect each other despite differences and we strive to get along. It's a great opportunity to be able to study and still work. Classes only meet Mondays and Tuesdays, leaving the rest of the week open for working and studying.

Southeastern Baptist College is a great school for those who really want to have a great college experience in a 'family' like atmosphere. You will have plenty of opportunities to chat with fellow students thanks to the small school environment. You are able to get an education and gain lots of wisdom from those who've been there & done that already, on top of making new friends!
