Personally I was not a resident of the dorms at Southeastern University; however, many of my friends were. They often say that even in their senior year they wish they…
The dorms at Southeastern are impeccable. You have a choice of having either a shared room or your own private dorm. Either choice would be beyond exceptional. You have one…
The dorm life is very nice there. There are always dorm activities and your RA's are very helpful and friendly.…
Above average. Prices vary but it is worth the money.…
I loved orientation and having a dorm for the night.…
Food is great! there are many fast food restaurants in the student union. There is a buffet restaurant in the union that was just named the top college food in the state of Louisiana. Hammond downtown has a bunch of really good restaurants and bars with fresh seafood, Cajun, Mexican, pizza, sushi. And a lot of the places have live music in the evenings.
Read Moreplenty of food options. everyone should be able to find something they like in the student union between the cafeteria and the on-campus fast food restaurants. the cafeteria food is pretty good too.
Read MoreThe food is a hit or a miss to me. On some days it is good, others you would not even want to eat it. Towards the end of the semester, the food will go down in options given that it is close to ending. Overall during regular dinning hours it is hard to find a table, and you will have to take a chance when going to get food.
Read MoreFood is great. We have so many options of places to eat during the times of day. They are also building more diners. So more options equals better. The employees are friendly. We have an all you can eat plan which includes healthy food like a salad and sandwich bar.
Read MoreThe cafeteria has many options that vary daily for meals all day long. However, the options cover a pretty fair range for the on-campus chain restaurants. Food is often very quick and good quality.
Read MoreWith plenty of options anybody can have the kind of food they would like. Some of the food you pay CubCash for, others you use meals from your meal plan. No matter what it is all delicious.
Read MoreThe food in the cafeteria is always fresh and delicious!
Read MoreI love the cafeteria; you're allowed to get however many plates you want during a visit.
Read MoreThere are a bunch of options for eating on and right off campus. They're expanding the union currently to hold even more places, and the dining hall is great 9 times out of 10.
Read MoreI'm not in a sorority, but there are sororities and fraternities on campus.
Read Morei prolong to a professional music fraternity sigma alpha iota. i absolutely love it. there are many different greek organizations represented on campus. there should be something for anyone who is looking for that sort of thing.
Read MoreUnfortunately most of our Greeks are what you would see on T.V. the crazy party ones. Unless you join a sorority/fraternity specific to your major (Music, Education, ect.), there is not much to get out of it.
Read MoreThe people in greek life are so friendly and do a lot of great charity events at southeastern. You can really appreciate how much they give back to others.
Read MoreThere are many sororities and fraternities.
Read MoreA bunch of options here, and they all seem to be pretty active. Southeastern has a really (REALLY) strict no-hazing policy so everyone has much more good-natured fun than you see in the movies. You go out of the whole process with new brothers and sisters that you keep for the rest of your life.
Read MoreAlthough I personally do not participate in a sorority, several of my fellow classmates and friends do. I hear wonderful reviews. They say they truly feel like sisters.
Read MoreThe Fraternities and Sororities are very involved in the community. Some are very entertaining and if you are familiar with Greek Shows and Greek steps; Southeastern's Greeks are great!
