The classes here are cheap, and they make it easy to get started. The classes are also small, which means that the courses are more personal. The credits transfer well and the guidance faculty are helpful. But the classes are sometimes hard to schedule or fit into, especially spring semester, when everything continues so you can't schedule the complete introductory classes.

Southern State is one of the cheapest options for colleges anywhere. Between financial aid and the $2000 scholarship they gave me, I have more than enough to finish without having to put out a dime for tuition or books. As long as your grades are good, you can basically go to the school for free. (assuming you have financial aid)
