    You can't get more credit hours per dollar spent than at a community college, and they have articulation agreements with many nearby 4-year schools.

    Southern State is one of the cheapest options for colleges anywhere. Between financial aid and the $2000 scholarship they gave me, I have more than enough to finish without having to put out a dime for tuition or books. As long as your grades are good, you can basically go to the school for free. (assuming you have financial aid)
