    Don't live on campus if you can, almost all housing is very close to the school; about a 5-minute walk for most of the housing. On campus isn't bad, but there are better options. Get involved with whatever you are interested in and make friends.

    Southern Utah University is more of an elite University so you'll want to make sure you get a good ACT score as well as getting great grades in High School. Plus, it's much easier to do what generals you during your High School years.

    Attend leadership weekends for opportunities to get involved before school even begins, and don't worry about not being able to make friends! Everyone here is so friendly that you could literally walk up to anyone and start a conversation!

    Live on campus for at least your first semester. The dorm life is a blast and really gets you to reach out and meet rad people. Attend your classes! The majority of the classes don't have a lot of take home assignments so you will bomb if you don't attend and take good notes! Get Involved! The more you sit around and think about home and feel sorry for yourself cuz you don't have any friends- the less fun you will have. Get out there and don't be afraid. What do you have to loose?!
