Make sure you have time for school. You will not do well if you can not make time for homework and studying. I have not found an instructor yet that gives an easy A.

Make sure to get a parking pass before parking on campus. Find a student who is at least a Sophomore in college to help you get oriented. Get involved in many clubs that the college offers.

    - Purchase your books as soon as you know what you will be needing for class. The book store is CRAZY the first week. - Same goes for the parking pass. You can purchase parking passes quarterly or you can purchase a yearly one. I opted for the quarterly one. - Meet new people! Mingle! College is as great of an experience as you allow it to be!

Register early. Do all of your registration paperwork and/or online requirements, FAFSA, etc. otherwise you will end up having to wait to get funded for the first quarter you start. Work hard, show up, do your home work and ask for help if you need it! Don't be surprised if the people who register you or give you info about financial aid come across as uncaring or disinterested in truly helping you to resolve any issue because they will be that way no matter what you do.
