Thanks to the professors, St. John's is a school that helps students for their particular career field. Many of the teachers have had experience in your field, so they are willing to give you tips that go a long way. This college is not for the slacker- expect to do work, but in the end it helps out. Many students go onto graduate school in the city or receive internships after they graduate. Some even participate in internships while they are in undergraduate school.

St. John's has a great community environment and makes sure to keep students entertained while on campus. The academic classes are tough but they also provide a lot of resources which most students fail to take advantage off. There is a really good sense of school spirit.

St. John's is a Metropolitan, Catholic and Vincentian university. Although the tuition is very high, it is worth it. St. John's is able to give us an education that will benefit us in many ways by making us cultured, intelligent, and aware of our diverse surroundings.

I like this school because the professors and the staff care about us and really want us to succeed. The majority are friendly and help us in the best way possible. I also like how the campus is not too far from the city so commuting is a great option.

A lot of money for a school that you have about a 50% chance of transferring. However, everyone is so different here that you'll want to stay. Also you're in Queens, not in Manhattan, that's an hour away via public transportation.

St. John's University is a great institution filled with people who genuinely care. There is help for whatever the problem may be, but you need to seek them out. It is also very clean, and orderly and not very hectic for being a school in a metropolitan area with a high concentration of students.
