Go now to the river and go kayaking, paddle boarding or sailing! Hangout at the on campus beach with friends. Go hiking through Historic St. Mary's City. There are fun events on the weekends such as movies, comedians, magicians, etc. You can also get involved with athletics or clubs.

Since the campus is a twenty minute drive from town, and thereĆ¢??s not even much there, the college tries to regularly host events for students to attend, like movie nights, comedy events, arts & crafts, games, and so on. Outside of events that are planned by the SGA and Programs Board, clubs and sports on campus also have events that can be attended. If you are not interested in these, there are plenty of things that students get together to do on-campus, like visiting Church Point.

We have a river on campus so water activities are very popular on campus. there is also a gym with plenty of equipment for working out, a tennis court, basketball courts, and a pool. Frisbee and outside sports are popular as well.

The SGA programs board plans weekly activities for students to do. Basketball games are big on campus and just relaxing at the waterfront is nice.

Party all night, watch movies all night, laugh at a comedian, enjoy burlesque, or even embrace the great outdoors. This campus is really fun if you go out and find it.

Real talk: at St. Mary's, we make our own fun. We have a ton of clubs and sports, from intramural to varsity, and the school has an amazing boathouse on our prime real estate, the St. Mary's river. As for at night, there are always parties on North Campus or, for the less adventurous, activities and movies and theme nights sponsored by SGA and other student groups. You can always trek into Lexington Park as well--it's a little far and you'll need to drive, but it's a pretty decent town.

Kayaking, rowing, sailing, hiking, camping, fishing, swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing, on-campus events, pretty much anything one could imagine.

There's so much to do on campus! (But nothing off campus) Many of the activities revolve around the water; sailing, boating, ponding (which is SMCM speak for throwing your friend in the pond on his/her birthday), etc.
