Founded in 1852 by the Society of Mary, St. Mary’s University is a liberal arts institution based in San Antonio, Texas. Students and faculty are invited to but not required to attend Bible study, Sacramental preparation, liturgical ministries, and spiritual retreats. St. Mary’s University provides an integration of liberal arts and professional study into every major program. The school is a member institution of both the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.
