Three isn't a lot of access to off-campus fun because Palo Alto is a very expensive city and unless you want to spend a good amount of money going off campus won't be much of an option. Hanging out with friends and going to Stanford events will be where all the cheap fun is. Cardinal nights throws lots of fun events for cheap and then there are all-campus parties and dorm parties that are really fun.

There are parties you can go to on the weekends. It's always nice to go outside or sit at one of the cafes outside and just soak up the sun. There are so many student groups and organizations at Stanford that there are lots of events and showcases you can attend. You can work out or play sports at the recreation facilities. Palo Alto is also close enough that you can go into town and grab a nice meal. The shopping center is a bike ride away.

Depends on what you'd like to do. Stanford is close to the CalTrain so you can pretty much go to any part of the Bay Area. SF trips are common and fun.

The campus is sometimes referred as the Stanford bubble. Many students lack the motivation or desire to leave the campus and explore areas nearby. It is possible though to visit the city via bus or Uber. Be warned: Palo Alto and San Fran are expensive. On a good note, the people are very welcoming and kind, so you may find a group of friends to pool your resources together.

Palo Alto is expensive for a broke student but San Francisco is only about a 45 minute train ride away and there are endless activities there.

Most students at this campus are practically in a sport or club. There are many activities to choose from, such as Tahitian dancing or late night talent shows.
