Prospective students should definitely use to read about possible instructors. Most of the reviews found on that website are accurate and extremely helpful to match to your individual learning style. Also, when choosing a path to follow for a specific career, do not talk to advising. Go to the department of the field that you want to enter. For example, I wish I had gone to the Natural Science Department because I want to be a veterinarian. Finally, I recommend making appointments with the professors for extra help. What a professor will tell you in private can be the key to your future and building those relationships can set you up for letters of recommendations and references in the future. The key to the State College of Florida is finding your niche and getting involved in the underworld of the faculty.
