    Turn in your homework on time. Ask for help when you need it. I have only had one professor who was not willing to work with me, and I went there for 3 years. Just don't slack off and be a good student. Most of the teachers are really great, and they recognize when their students are giving their best efforts. If you have an issue, the best thing is to go to one of the campuses, in person, to deal with it.

    Avoid taking classes from Prof Mason, prof Straight, and Prof Murray. They are almost universally hated and students rarely do as well in their classes. Find some friends, research the teachers, and be ready for a small campus. Also, avoid the french fries at the student union.

    If you're wanting early classes, try to get to class ten minutes early. The parking lot fills up fast and it would suck if you would have to park far away from your class.
