To me it seems the everyone there has a $20 - $25,000 scholarship from them. If you apply you will most likely get one. So going here is sort of around the same price as going to a public university. Also the beauty and education you get is so worth it!

It is a very expensive school, but they are aware of how expensive they are. The short time that I've been here there have been many chances to get free merchandise, sporting events, and even free coffee (perfect for midterms). This isn't the type of school that looks down on those that need financial aid (99% of the school is on it), but instead embraces those that were willing to come here and apply themselves.

Stetson is pricey, no doubt about it. However, if you ask for the right resources, it really becomes worth it, especially when you take into account the scholarships they give everyone. That being said, I would try to transfer in once you have some credits, to help reduce the length on time here because the bills do add up.

Stetson just sent $30,000 on a pile of rocks (I'm not kidding) while there are other parts of campus that need help, so there could definitely be better things to spend the money on. Stetson has more money than it knows what to do with from tuition, but it doesn't always seem like they spend it on the best things.
