Plenty of events put on by clubs, so you can line up outside various locations for free food (there will always be a line). People tend to go to these events with their friends, so if you're attending these events alone with the hopes of meeting new friends (like I did), I'll tell you that it's rather hard. Not everyone (aka the majority) doesn't want to branch out. Join a social club (some sort of activity/ culture) and a career-focused club. Theres also a rec center if you want to work out.

Visit NYC via the train, which takes approximately 2 hours and requires changing trains once midway.

The campus is located in a quiet, suburban area so you have to find ways to make your own fun. It can vary from card games to going to concerts in NYC. Whatever floats your boat.

Honestly, I feel like the amount of work I have taking only 15 credits which is what you would have to take for 2 semesters a year to graduate on time is so much work. There isn't enough time for me to join clubs or make friends. There are parties. It's becoming a party school. There are lots of clubs, I wish I had time to do stuff.

There are a lot of events that go on on campus. You can also go to watch the sporting games, which are free, or go and join a sport or club since there are TONS of those. There are a good amount of parties from frats or you can chill out at Dining Areas till late. On the weekends, you can visit the mall for free on weekends or sit around and enjoy the TV in residential buildings. There's an okay amount of stuff to do if one is truly bored.

There's bikes you could rent. First hour is free. There's the gym/sports complex. If you like intramural sports, handball, etc. The pool has not yet opened even though it was supposed to. There's a couple restaurants nearby. Studying.. if that's what you do for fun. The beach is about a 10 min drive away.
