Stratford School of Aviation Maintenance Technicians is a public, technical education institution located in Fairfield County. The college offers an Aviation Maintenance Technology certification program, providing training in nearly 50 skilled trade fields of study over the course of twenty months. Students at the Stratford School each complete work in three curriculums including General, Airframe, and Power Plant in order to prepare for the FAA examinations. Students who complete the certification program are eligible for 30 transfer credits toward an associate’s degree upon transfer to Gateway Community College or Housatonic Community College.
