There is always something going on around campus. Between all the dance, theatre, comedy, and music groups, there are performances close to every weekend. There are always events going on usually free or $3 a ticket. Armory Square (the downtown area of the city) and Destiny USA (the mall) are easily accessible via shuttle from main campus. The nightlife and party scene is a big part of Syracuse. Someone asked me what the funnest party I went to freshman year was and I realized, it's not the party, it's what you and your friends make of it that makes the difference between a fun night and a sucky night.

Most students go to Marshall Street for fun. It is a street located on campus containing various dessert, food, and beverage stores. Besides that, there is another street not far from campus called Wescott Street where students can eat and go to bars.

SU has a fair amount of school-sponsored events happening on campus. For example, on the weekends the student union shows free movies. There are plenty of free student concerts to go to, and there are A Cappella group shows every few weeks. There are also things to do in the city: there is a downtown area with a handful of restaurants and shops, and it has a museum too. Most of the fun though, comes from having a group of friends, so getting involved in things and finding a social group is important.

The school provides a lot of campus events that are a lot of fun for good prices. There's also buses and you could also take a taxi to a lot of places around the city. And of course, the parties.

There are tons of clubs and organizations to get involved with on campus. Sports events are a must (Insert a shameless plug for Women's Rugby here). There is lots of shopping and so many restaurants to try. Greek life is fantastic for those who are interested in that. There are always parties to go to if you look for them.

I enjoy figure skating at Tennity Pavilion which is on campus! I also enjoy going to mall or just hanging out with friends. Cuse has some pretty wild parties and events that are very fun but if you're not about it you can opt out and just have a kick back movie night with friends.
