The teachers here are wonderful and, just like any other teacher, they are here for you and want you to strive to do your best. They are always offering help after classes if you don't understand something, as well as being a tutor for you. The learning commons is also another place that you can receive immense amounts of help. It is full of tutors and fellow students who are only there to help. TCC is a great starting school, it helps students effectively transition from high school to university. They also provide students with assistance outside of the classroom that is completely free. Teachers are willing to work with you if you show dedication.

Tallahassee Community College is a great start for a student who is worried about the transfer from High School to College or just needs time to figure out what they want to do. The teachers are there to help and the learning environment is very laid back and stress free. There are so many resources you can utilize like technology, study rooms and tutors.

TCC feels more like a family. Classes are smaller so you get to know your peers. It is a tight-knit community and very good for someone who is nervous about going to college.

Tallahassee community college has numerous health programs located at their Ghazvini Center. A great program that I am in is the Surgical Technologist program. It is just four semesters and a great hands on program. I would recommend this program to anyone wanting to enter the health field and for those who would one day want to further their education to a PA.

Tallahassee Community College legitimately surprised me. All of my classes are small and I have come to know my teachers very well. The one on one time was phenomenal in helping me to succeed at my degree.

TCC embraces the down home college feel. Courses are relatively small in size so there is much opportunity for personal attention from the professors. There are numerous on-line offerings that allow course completion remotely.
