Anything you can imagine, basically! All of Philly is a walk or a subway token away for concerts, theater, museums, shopping, dining, sightseeing, nightlife, etc. There are hundreds of clubs available and also a bunch of frats/sororities, although Greek Life isn't that big of a deal at Temple. There's also a bar on campus.

My first choice for fun is being a spectator at our Temple Owl sports events. There are music and drama showings and the Liacouras Center hosts well known professional acts. A movie theater sits on Broad Street, directly across from campus. Our student center has pool tables, computers and video games and provides a meeting/sign up/information gathering place for many campus clubs. Being located in the city provides access to professional sports, theater, museums parks and many other attractions.

It is always nice to hop on the subway and head into Center City. There is a lot to explore in Philly and there are a lot of unique places to experience; whether food, shopping, or just site seeing.

Center Philly is literally 10 minutes away (car or bus) about 30-40 walking but to be honest I wouldn't walk.. once you get off campus the neighborhood is pretty rough. But besides that there are on campus things like the movies, theater, pool, and other sports facilities, there are enough restaurants to make your head spin. not too many places to shop on campus though

There's a lot to do at Temple. They have a partnership with some of the teams in Philadelphia so you can get Sixers and Phillies tickets for ten dollars. It's also fun to go into center city on the weekends. There are plenty of things to do in Philadelphia, and most things are just a subway ride away.
