Um.. The beach. University beach isn't the place to go but the surrounding areas are quite entertaining with good company of coarse! The athletics part is continually growing, beach volleyball, is now an official sport at this university! There are clubs pertaining to your major that always helps build you a strong foundation to your networks. Frats and Sororities are well distinguished among the university if that interests you.

GO TO THE BEACH! Spend time outside in the beautiful weather, in the even more beautiful scenery. Swim, fish, surf, play sand volleyball, go shopping, explore the area, go to the local clubs, visit the Sea Life Center, eat at the great restaurants, and try something new!

There are many university bars (if you are of age) Cool dance clubs like XS, Ropers, and The Bay. Of course what most people do for fun is grab a few friends and head to the beach. There are kite, fishing, and professional sand castle building events, which are pretty cool! If shopping is more your speed, Corpus has built a new mall and there is a great little shop called Threads that is a local and groovy second hand store.

There is a beach! Aside from petting the cats, doing homework, and clubs there is a beach just across the street and kayak rental just down the road (I love kayaking).

The campus is literally on it's own island so we have water right in our back yard. Students can explore the Gulf all they want. The city of Corpus Christi can seem pretty dead but if you explore and dig under the surface you can find some really fun stuff in the city.

Taking a walk on the beach and hanging out with friends are some of my favorite past times. The beach is so peaceful and my friends are fun to hang out with.

I have a couple of friends who attend school down there and they are never bored. They have an aquarium, museums (which students can get in for free), the beach (of course!), surfing, skydiving, dancing, you name it.
