TSU is a terrible university. This is not a shot at hbcus. There are plenty of great hbcus. Tsu is not only a bad school it is also one of the worst hbcus with a 5 percent graduation rate. Dont let people fool you. Do not go here

I've only been here for three weeks, but I can tell you that Texas Southern is very family oriented. They expect the best from every student, and you must know your history. Enjoy school the tiger way!!!

It is definitely not what I expected. It is not a wild HBCU like the media portrays. It is easy to keep a high GPA here. Just know you will never have enough money to go here without a whole bunch of loans. No one cares if you graduate or not. No one cares if your financial aid goes through or not.
