This a massively underrated school with a beautiful campus and very helpful staff. The student life is bustling and buoyant, with a marvelous river to float and many popular hangouts close to campus. A further benefit is the tobacco-free campus, which is only part of the many ways Texas State shows how invested it is in the students who attend.

I enjoy the campus, it is beautiful and lots of stairs. No matter where you are there is a nice view and the River is a huge plus. The dorms are nice and so far from my visits the students are friendly.

Texas State University is a great school to attend and the campus is very beautiful. There are plenty of things to do on and off campus but be careful and know your priorities. If it is partying just know you wont be there very long.

The campus is beautiful and clean, extremely well kept and the staff in the residential halls and student centers are nothing but helpful and kind. Texas state has a small town feel with all of the amenities of a big city, not to mention Austin and San Antonio are each only an hour away. Tuition is reasonable and the professors truly care about the education of their students.

Texas State has so much to offer like Greek life, great student opportunities, and over 270 organizations. While there is much to do here it's easy for some to get carried away from school work. It can be hard to find your place though if you don't put in effort.
