    Texas State is full of hills and stairs. You will make lots of walking buddies. Most students walk or use shuttles to get around, so don't be upset when Mom or Dad don't allow you to bring a car 1st year.

    i love how beautiful the campus is, and how wonderful the professors are! i'm an anthropology major, and all of the professors in my department are clearly passionate about what they do. i love how the campus is in a town that isn't overly large, so getting around isn't terribly difficult as well.

    texas state university in san marcos is a beautiful campus located right next to the town square, and has cute squirrels in abundance. the professors are all extremely nice and helpful, as well as many of the students. the campus is also really easy to get around once you get your barrings, and there is always something entertaining going on, if you know where to look.
