The Rec Center is the epicenter of Texas Tech's enjoyment. While visiting Tech you will find dozens of beach volleyball games as well as shirtless runners taking advantage of the scenic running paths. If you are interested in night life then all you have to do is head towards any apartment complex. Parties happen every weekend rain, snow, or dust storm!

Since Lubbock is a popular country music scene, many bars host artists that are fairly popular. There is always something to do on the weekends, whether it's bowling and eating out or partying with friends.

Texas Tech University has many organizations to join on campus. There is never a time on campus when there's nothing going on. TAB is a group that makes sure that Monday through Friday Tech students will get out and enjoy themselves. Whether it be movie night, design a fish tank day, or taco Tuesday you'll always have something to do instead of sitting in your dorm all day.

With numerous restaurants, a vibrant night life scene, ample retail outlets, and several museums, Lubbock is a great place to live. While there are plenty of fun things to do throughout Lubbock, there is very little need for Tech students to leave campus in order to have a good time. One can join a student organization, play intramural sports, float down the Lazy River or climb the 50-foot rock wall at the Recreation Center, or cheer for the Red Raiders at a sporting event.

There's restaurants in town and several clubs in the depot district. Other than that, there's bowling alleys. Not much else to do in Lubbock.

There's a Main Event for bowling, playing laser tag, etc, the South Plains Mall, or you can eat at the awesomely good Mexican restaurant that is Torchy's. Plus Tech has plenty of free activities such as movie screenings and poetry slams for students to enjoy.

TAB puts on a lot of free events like movies and other things. Lubbock has most things that other cities do like movie theaters, bowling allies, gyms, among other things. Tech also has a leisure pool, which is fun.

The fun is in the college. Texas tech is very big school in general. So all the fun is inside the college, football games, basketball games, clubs, and other various organizations.
