Have a good idea of what you're interested in before applying, but don't worry, you can always switch programs. Better yet, schedule to speak or meet with an admissions adviser. They're really friendly, and will go over each program with you, while answering any questions you may have.
Programs are fully accredited 2-year associate's degrees, but most programs have partnered with schools in order to complete a 4-year bachelor's degree.
While most programs offered are related to specific trades (carpentry, masonry, HVAC, auto...) there are some technical degrees as well (architectural technology, graphic design, CNSA...) Most programs lead to well paying jobs immediately, with many companies actively looking for Stevens students.
If your still looking for a "college experience," don't worry. While the school campus is relatively small in comparison to larger colleges and universities, it still has plenty to offer. Along with satellite campuses, the main campus offers a collection of historic buildings, including the main hall. A huge, modern library, fitness facility, dining hall and dorm halls. The grounds still provide a lot of open green space, and even a garden, perfect for relaxing and studying. The are always student events to attend and numerous intercollegiate athletic programs, including a top-ranked football team. It may be small, but there's a lot packed into this small package. Added bonus, TSCT also has plenty of history. The school itself is over 100 years old.
