Do not procrastinate. Work will pile up and once it does, there is no helping it. Avoid missing class because it is part of the grade for most courses. Talk to professors if you are having problems. They will help you if you let them. Apple for financial aid. Russell Sage gives a decent amount of aid. Read the student handbook as it will give you more information. Go to the overnight to get a real feel for the college. If you are looking for an all womens college, apply somewhere else as the college just announced it is going co-ed and becoming a university style campus.

Understand that the college is a small community of people (students and faculty) so it is not possible to hide quietly in the back of the class without any attention. Russell Sage College, in particular, is a woman's college and that aspect alone provides an interesting class dynamic. I believe they are quite selective, but if you really want to go there, I would suggest doing the interview. It is not required so many do not, but it will help you stand out.
