Yes its a bit pricey but its a private school so now matter where you are from you pay the same as Florida residents. the counselors are more then helpful if you have any questions i would email them they will for sure clear up any questions they can. the school also is very good about giving grants. Make sure if you think you need help with tuition you apply for the aid

The University of Tampa give your opportunities to earn more than your buck in regards to opportunities during and after you graduate. It is a great school with the support of the growing city. It is great for both students who want to focus with engaged professors and those who want real life experience and opportunities they never imagined.

The University of Tampa is the perfect place for me. It is the perfect small sized school in the big city, not to mention how beautiful the campus is. Overall I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

The people in UT are amazing if you know them from somewhere, they aren't the friendliest if they aren't socially connected to you. The night-life sucks; the city is in poverty; lots of homeless people around the edges of the campus and around the clubs; on-campus food get's old, real fast (not many choices); no school spirit; and the campus security is really harsh. Those are most of the negatives, but the positives are that there is a short walk from dorms to class; the people are fun; the professors are great; and the weather is always great.

This school is not what you think it is like. Don't come to this school for the weather or whatever reason.... The school environment feels like a boarding school for rich people up north.

Bigger colleges have the task of commuting over long distances to classes for over 15 minutes, however at The University of Tampa the proximity between classes and dorms are just approximately 5 mins which is very convenient. The size of the classes are very efficient, because they make interactions with the professors easy and therefore you are more likely to succeed academically. The proximity to the town makes it very reliable to find a job or internship which can not only be a source of income but add to your future resume.

A nice school for people who prefer small schools; basically everyone knows each other. There's always something to do during the day and at night. Classes can be challenging or easy depending on your major.

UT is a perfectly sized school -not too big, not too small- for students who care about their academic goals. The campus is beautiful, well kept, and a good place to live. Most importantly, the students and faculty are overall kind and inviting.
