UTA is a good school academic wise.Socially it is lacking the exciting feel most college campuses have. The campus is ok,but major improvements need to be made to build up more school spirit here.

The University of Texas at Arlington is a great school with great programs, great professors, and amazing possibilities for a better future. It is filled with daily activities which is great for meeting new people, and staying active around campus. Not only is the university itself, fun and well-maintained, but the students are nice and i would not want to be in any other place.

A great school for commuters and those that live on campus. The College of Science is focused on research and provides many ways for students to get involved. An overall great place to get an education.

UTA maintains a high standard for students academically, especially concerning the Engineering Department where students like myself are expected to hold a 2.75 GPA, higher than any other standard on campus. Student organizations are abundant and are widely available for all majors, genders, and ethnicity. It is definitely a majority commuter school, with most activities taking place during the week and very little taking place on the weekends.

The University is diverse, however it sometimes tends to lack the spirit of sports being that it doesn't have a football team. On another note, the people are really nice and the staff all around are helpful. There are also many activities to become a part of, you just have to get out of your comfort zone and explore!

The school is very good in terms of academics, most of the professors are great and are willing to help but most students dont take advantage. There is also alot of resources outside the classes that can help with classes, health and even the social aspect of college. Although the school is great with the academic side of college it is a big commuter school so many students don't participate much in school activities.
