The University of Texas at Arlington has a lot of diversity and a large population study abroad students. This allows for more foreign students to be a part of the student body and widens your chances of making friends outside of your comfort zone. Along with this, the school is great for clubs and organizations of all different kinds and with students of different backgrounds so you are bound to find something that interests you. However, UTA is not a good school if you want to dorm and make a lot of friends because most students live off campus and work. So in that case you are better off at a school which values staying on campus more.

It is a nice campus with various events throughout the year. There are a lot of clubs to be a part of and the people there are really nice. And all the advisors that I have met with, thus far are extremely helpful and kind.

Great school and diversity! However unless you’re a engineer major or nursing program member you won’t receive much attention. Only majors that bring money to the school are treated better and have better facilities.

This university has a large cultural diversity. I’ve been surrounded with great people that care for each other and help each other. I feel very comfortable here. This is my home away from home. My professors are always willing to help out in whatever they can.

UTA is a rapidly expanding university outgrowing its commuter school image; it's set to become a top Texas college in the not-too-long run. The school is evolving along with Arlington, its host city, attracting more and brighter students year by year. The quality and resources rival any other university though UTA absolutely kills it when it comes to financial aid.

The international counselor is very nice and helpful. Moreover, we can find a lot of scholarship that we can apply at their scholarstore. I have all my cousins studying here so they recommend this university.

At first I didn't really want to attend the UTA because of what all the (naive) high school students say about it. However, as I did more research, I realized that UTA is actually one of the top academic schools in the state that is also on the more affordable side. I also realized that despite it not being a liberal arts school, (the opposite actually, nursing and engineering) it's liberal arts program (my area of interest) is still very complete.

It's an amazing and diverse school that I have an immense passion for. I never knew that I could feel this way about a college until I arrived at UTA. There's no place I'd rather be.
