The rec center is huge and offers free group exercise classes like Yoga, Synergy 360, aqua zumba, regular zumba, cardio kickboxing etc. Raquetball, Ping Pong swimming pools, and rock climbing! Plus an indoor 1/6th mile running track. Anyone that likes exercising will love it at the Rec center.

Student groups are fairly active and always campaigning for members. The Rec has a lazy river that's somewhere in the process of being finished, so that may eventually be open. Plus, it's San Antonio. Campus is practically next door to Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and it's not too far from the Riverwalk, Alamo, and Alamodome.

the best way to make sure you have fun at utsa, and any university, is to get involved on campus! with over 300 student organizations, it is s easy to find a group of like-minded people and create a lasting bond. apart from clubs and organizations, utsa hosts many social events around campus, whether they be under our "sombrilla", in our tunnels, or in our paseo. there are endless opportunities provided by utsa for all students to get involved, have fun, and create bonds that last forever!
