The University of Texas at Tyler is not only known for being a branch off of the University of Texas at Austin, but because of its professors. The University of Texas at Tyler has some of the greatest professors that have received their degrees from different parts of world, therefore gives us, the students, a major advantage against non-UT Tyler students! Another advantage that we UT Tyler students have is that the teacher:student ratio is 1:20; this making it easier for the students to concentrate in class and build a strong relationship with the professors.

UT Tyler makes student safety a priority. The campus is a good size, it's not too big and it's not too small so you can still form a relationship with your professors. We have a great nursing school on top of many other nationally ranked programs and schools.

Since the class sizes are small, there are a lot of wonderful professors that are there to help if you are struggling in a certain class. Another thing that I really love is that there is free tutoring if you can't reach your professor, and these sessions have really helped me. Overall, the campus is really good at helping its students do well.

The school has a beautiful campus with a tight-knit community of educators and counselors. The staff members are impressively qualified and the smaller class sizes allow for a more personal connection with professors and constituents. At this school, one can make a large impact.

UT Tyler has a great atmosphere for anyone looking to get a great education. The campus is quite peaceful at all times, very scenic, the buildings don't ever feel over crowded or suffocating. The teachers are actually very dependable and helpful, as long as you attend class regularly and keep up with your school work.

The school is small enough for hands on learning, yet big enough for a student to have the college experience. It well ranked in several areas both academically and athletically, with many professors earning several accolades and rewards in their perspective fields. If a student is looking for a school that has a nice environment and a solid academic background, I would encourage them to apply here.
