The University of Texas at Tyler is not only known for being a branch off of the University of Texas at Austin, but because of its professors. The University of Texas at Tyler has some of the greatest professors that have received their degrees from different parts of world, therefore gives us, the students, a major advantage against non-UT Tyler students! Another advantage that we UT Tyler students have is that the teacher:student ratio is 1:20; this making it easier for the students to concentrate in class and build a strong relationship with the professors.

Beautiful, scenic campus where you can get anywhere by walking in 10 minutes or less. Most classes are good, but some could use more structure. There is a sense of community, but they still have a long ways to go in terms of encouraging student life.

i think main campus is so much better than other small campuses such as Houston location. Admission: Worst at HEC campus (Christine), she will look at you with mean face, and bad attitude no matter how nice you try to talk to her. Advising: not clear and not honest
